In order to purchase Gift Cards via Cashrewards, you must link and verify an Australian issued Visa or Mastercard, credit or debit card.
To verify your card, a pre-authorisation amount of between $0.01 and $2.99 will be shown on your card statement with the reference VERIFY AUTH. You’ll be asked to enter the value of the pre-authorisation amount in the Cashrewards Gift Card Wallet.
Please check all the details you have entered are correct. You will have 5 attempts available to verify your card. You will be notified of the remaining attempts via an error message in the Wallet. If verification fails, you will be notified “Error Number - Card verification failed” and your payment method will be removed from the Cashrewards Wallet.
If your Visa or Mastercard Credit or Debit card remains in an unverified state for 5 days, the pre- authorisation process will be restarted, and the card removed from your Cashrewards Wallet.
